Dan MacLellan is one of the Principal advisors of MacLellan & Moffatt Financial.

MacLellan & Moffatt Financial represents every major insurance carrier in Canada, and is one of the largest providers of life and disability insurance in Atlantic Canada.

Dan has been working in the industry since 2004.

He specializes in living benefits which includes: disability, critical illness and health insurance. His practice is tailored specifically to the needs of medical and dental and legal professionals across the country.

Dan, Pat Gilbert and their team are also the Nova Scotia representatives of Lawyers Financial (formerly known as the Canadian Bar Insurance Association) and work with over 2500 lawyers in Nova Scotia.

Starting with a direct focus on wealth & health protection, he can advise you how to create a foundation on which you can build your practice.

Dan was born in Halifax, but grew up in Truro for most of his young life. He is a graduate of Acadia University, and a Certified Health Insurance Specialist. He is an avid skier, and a terrible, but aspiring golfer. He lives with his wife, daughter and twin boys in the Armdale area of Halifax.

Patrick Gilbert

Patrick Gilbert is one of the Principal advisors of MacLellan & Moffatt Financial.

Pat started as an advisor in 2013 and joined the MacLellan & Moffatt team in 2017.

He specializes in insurance and investment planning for families and business owners across the country. He has a strong emphasis on life, disability, and critical illness insurance, as well as wealth management, all with the goal of having a client base that is set up for success in both the short and long term.

Pat, Dan MacLellan and their team are also the representatives of Nova Scotia division of Lawyers Financial (formerly known as the Canadian Bar Insurance Association), actively working with lawyers and their staff across the Province to provide high level insurance advice.

Pat prioritizes strong and trusting relationships with each client, and prides himself in having clients leave a meeting feeling confident and excited about their financial future and protection.

Pat was born and raised in Halifax, NS and continues to reside in Halifax with his wife and son. He is a passionate sports fan and when away from the office, he can often be found at the golf course or the hockey rink (either playing or coaching).

Jessica Dixon

Jessica, who joined our team in 2021, brings a uniquely analytical perspective to the insurance industry. With a Bachelor of Science in Biology, she's driven to deeply understand the complexities of insurance and investments.

This translates into her unwavering dedication to ensuring clients understand their options and confidently navigate the financial landscape. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys exploring nature through hiking and fueling her mind with daily crosswords and coffee.

Jilliane Robichaud

With ample experience in the retail and interior design industry, Jill has parlayed her background in business communications into the insurance and finance world. She is an asset at assisting clients with their needs and enjoys that no two working days are the same.  

As a certified cicerone, Jill loves discovering the local craft beer scene on her days off. She moved to Halifax two years ago from Toronto and can be found exploring the surrounding trails and lakes with her husband, two young children, and French bulldog Maurice.

Grayson Ingraham

Grayson joined MacLellan & Moffatt Financial in January 2025. He brings with him over 20 years of experience in the Insurance & Investment industry, working with individuals and businesses all across Atlantic Canada.

He enjoys working closely with clients to help address issues and keep plans running smoothly. Grayson comes from an active hockey background as a coach, instructor and player and uses his values of teamwork and camaraderie in his role as an advisor.

While quick to point out that he was born and raised in Cape Breton, Grayson now resides in Timberlea, NS with his wife Julene and is the proud dad and step-dad to Ty, Rogan, Cohen and Elena.

Cameron Lordon

Joining the team in late 2024, Cam specializes in individual insurance and investment planning, with a particular focus on life, critical illness, and health insurance.

Though new to the field, Cam brings a fresh perspective and a solid foundation in financial principles, investment planning, insurance planning, and wealth management. His client-centred approach emphasizes building strong relationships and delivering tailored solutions that align with his clients' values and long-term objectives.

Cam is originally from Oakville, ON and relocated to Halifax, NS in 2010. He is a graduate of Acadia University and currently resides in Halifax's North End with his girlfriend, Abby. Outside of the office, Cam is an avid golfer and can most likely be found at the golf course.
